Tracking Covid-19 in Higher Ed

If you’re looking for someone who is tracking how Covid-19 is affecting higher education, I recommend visiting Bryan Alexander’s website. He’s created a list of resources that includes links to virus tracking, a spreadsheet of closures, and additional posts on Covid-19. It’s been especially interesting how his spreadsheet was picked up and adopted as a resource.

I know this is a stressful time and I’ll work to pull together resources for those of you having to move your courses online. Faculty, staff, and students are all overwhelmed. It’s a little outdated, but if you need to teach online, check out this guide on using Youtube Live as a free resource.

As universities and colleges move toward an online model, what are your concerns? How are you approaching the roadblocks? What’s been communicated to your students?
