Digital Scholarship Coordinator at Bucknell University

As part of the ITEC (Instructional Technology) team, the Digital Scholarship Coordinator (DSC) partners with faculty to drive the effective integration of technology to enhance teaching, learning and research. In addition to focusing on digital scholarship, the DSC will regularly collaborate with other ITEC members, faculty and senior administrators to think strategically about the intersection of the humanities, social sciences, technology and public outreach in teaching and scholarship throughout the university.

Assistant Dean for Libraries Systems and Technologies at Indiana University of Pennsylvania

The IUP Libraries are looking for an information technology professional with three to five years of experience in the administration and support of integrated library systems, applications, and technologies in an academic setting to lead the Libraries and their technology team into the 21st century academic library environment.

Detailed Description

The Assistant Dean of Libraries for Systems & Technology will provide leadership and direction for the libraries’ technology infrastructure and systems, including library management systems, network integrity and security, support of enterprise library applications and services and advancing library systems and technologies.
This individual will be responsible for evaluating new technology, maintaining existing technology infrastructure, and working in close collaboration with Central IT Services. This individual will also work closely with library faculty and staff to understand and evaluate academic information technologies and strategies for the IUP Libraries and make recommendations to the Dean, as well as oversee and supervise helpdesk services, computer lab operations, and media and production services. Finally, this individual will participate in campus-wide technology initiatives as the representative of library services.

Educational Technology & Reference Librarian: Bryn Mawr College

Through active outreach and participation with the campus community, the Educational Technology & Reference Librarian shares responsibility for coordinating and supporting campus educational technology planning, pedagogical applications, support of instructional technology, library reference services and bibliographic instruction to students, faculty and staff. The Educational Technology and Reference librarian interacts directly with faculty and students to serve their library and educational technology needs, partners with academic departments and programs to advance research and learning and plays a major role in Tri-College (Bryn Mawr, Haverford & Swarthmore) library and IT development.
