I’ve missed programming. The last things I built were a complicated xslt script to transform pbcore metadata into marc xml and to redesign a website for an internal client. With a silly idea in mind for a project using a social media api, I decided to learn flask and brush up on python. There’s an easy to follow tutorial using Visual Studio Code and it’s great to be able to create environments in vs code and run projects from the app.
